This month we've given documents a new look on HASpod. This update includes improvements for searching, filtering, creating, and editing health and safety templates. The latest version is available now on your HASpod account.
In the last few weeks, we have launched an update that gives documents in HASpod a new design and a few new features, including:
In addition to things looking different, we've added several performance improvements, including upgrading our servers and infrastructure so that searching, creating and saving documents runs faster.
Let's dive into the details!
You might notice a few changes when you click Documents
from your account dashboard. We've refreshed the design of our templates (still colour-coded!) and improved searching.
Over the years, we've added hundreds of health and safety templates to HASpod. You can now access 655+ health and safety templates from your HASpod account, and we regularly add more.
That's a lot of documents to organise, so it was time for a revamp!
🆕 You can now filter by document type from the documents dashboard. Know you need a method statement, click on the method statement filter to see all of the method statements available.
🔎 Searching has been updated to make it easier to filter by keyword and/or type. Need documents for concrete? Type "concrete" in the search box and see all the templates relating to concrete. Need a risk assessment? You can also filter by template type.
🆕 Just browsing? Our templates have a new look, but they are still colour-coded by type, so you can easily identify the kind of templates available.
🆕 We regularly add new health and safety documents to our service. We announce new templates in our monthly email to users, and you can find them on your account under Documents
> Templates
.
You'll still find all of your saved edits under Edits
, and if you're working on lots of projects, you can organise your edits to make searching easier.
💾 No one wants to worry about losing edits. Autosave has been updated to save sooner and faster, so you don't have to worry about hitting that save button (but you still can if you want to!).
🆕 Need an uploaded image to display smaller? There are now three simple size options for images in the HASpod editor, small, medium or large. Or leave it as the default for maximum size.
If you're on a team plan, edits shared with your team can be found under Shared
, where you can download or make a copy to create a new version.
🆕 You can control which edits to share with your team by turning on the Share Edit
toggle in your document settings.
⬇️ Edits created in the old editor (edits created from templates versioned before February 2022) can no longer be copied - but can still be edited. For members who are working on projects lasting over two years, these edits can still be updated on an active membership.
⚠️ You'll now see a little warning to upgrade to the latest template version when working on an edit that used the previous version of the online editor. Because the templates (and the online editor) were upgraded over two years ago, we recommend upgrading to the new version (from Documents
> Templates
in your HASpod account) to get the latest updates.
🆕 We now save expired edits for up to 60 days after your access expires to give you extra time to download and save your finished document. Find them at Documents
> Edits
.
You can access 40+ free health and safety document templates on the Free Plan to try our easy-to-use online editor.
Need a specific document? You can purchase an individual health and safety template when you need it and create your document in minutes!
If you need to create multiple health and safety documents for your business and projects, get access to every template and a huge discount with the Documents Plan membership.
